Turns out posing that antlion guard was actually quite easy.

While the map does have a pair of explosive barrels in that spot, they aren’t in that exact position (or one of them isn’t, anyway). I moved the one on the right so that the muzzle flash wasn’t drowned out by the light behind it.

Just realising now that I don’t think I used any real-time shadows for the spotlight, nor did I create any light from the muzzle flashes. Oh well.

I do really like the framing though. Very convenient hole in the ceiling.

I also had to remove the stuff in the hole in the wall on the right, because otherwise the lighting looked odd. Presumably it’s intended to be seen from the other side.
